Engagement shoot: Steve + Cassandra

When Mark told me that Cassandra and Steve were planning to save their first kiss for their wedding day I felt a little nervous about their shoot. I mean, it's really sweet, and special, and ambitious of them, but I'm so used to posing the couple, taking the shot then telling them to kiss for the next shot. We do a lot of kissy pictures.

Long story short: I had nothing to be nervous about, these lovebirds were completely natural in front of the camera. They have amazing chemistry, it's obvious how much they'd love to kiss and I so admire their desire for purity. I am so excited about their wedding day - that first, long awaited kiss is going to be so special!

They hug. And they give cheek or forehead kisses. Whew.

My sister, Tracy (of Father's Eye Photography) took this shot. She decided we needed some sister time and joined me for the day. It was so nice having her 2nd shoot with me (and we managed to sneak in a little shopping too!)

We went to Mount Nemo Conservation Area in Burlington. What a beautiful location! Steve planned to propose to Cassandra here, but had to change his plans because it rained on the night he proposed.

We crossed paths with a couple ladies riding their beautiful horses... The ladies let us use their horses for some pictures and even encouraged the couple to get right on the horses for a picture! It was Cassandra's first time ever on horseback :)

They love their Birkenstocks :)

It was fun getting to know you guys! I am really looking forward to the wedding!
