Elisabeth...

This is my good friend Elisabeth. She totally inspires me: she's lost 128lbs and has a goal of losing another 100lbs by October first 2011!

Elisabeth, I am so proud you... you are absolutely beautiful inside and out! I am so looking forward to our photo session next year ;)

Willms Family

This photo shoot was just as fun as it looks! A beautiful day + a beautiful family + a love seat and tea party in a vine yard = a happy photographer :)

Addison is so full of personality - I just loved her!

Thanks for a fun afternoon Kristie and Paul!

Jessica + Marco

What can I say about Jessica and Marco? They are just so stinking cute together. Jess has danced her whole life and now owns a dance studio. Because of that she is used to being in front of the camera and knew just how to pose. Marco was a little nervous - being the inexperienced of the two - but he proved to be a natural as well :) They are such a sweet couple and I'm really looking forward to their wedding. They told me a few of the details from their big day and it's going to be amazing....

It was nice shooting at Webster's Falls again - such a beautiful location!

If you saw my last engagement session you know that my sister - Tracy (of Father's Eye Photography) joined me for the day. She got these shots while I was getting the other angle... I just love them.

Jess + Marco: It was fun taking your photos and getting to know you - I'm really looking forward to your wedding! Cheers :)

Engagement shoot: Steve + Cassandra

When Mark told me that Cassandra and Steve were planning to save their first kiss for their wedding day I felt a little nervous about their shoot. I mean, it's really sweet, and special, and ambitious of them, but I'm so used to posing the couple, taking the shot then telling them to kiss for the next shot. We do a lot of kissy pictures.

Long story short: I had nothing to be nervous about, these lovebirds were completely natural in front of the camera. They have amazing chemistry, it's obvious how much they'd love to kiss and I so admire their desire for purity. I am so excited about their wedding day - that first, long awaited kiss is going to be so special!

They hug. And they give cheek or forehead kisses. Whew.

My sister, Tracy (of Father's Eye Photography) took this shot. She decided we needed some sister time and joined me for the day. It was so nice having her 2nd shoot with me (and we managed to sneak in a little shopping too!)

We went to Mount Nemo Conservation Area in Burlington. What a beautiful location! Steve planned to propose to Cassandra here, but had to change his plans because it rained on the night he proposed.

We crossed paths with a couple ladies riding their beautiful horses... The ladies let us use their horses for some pictures and even encouraged the couple to get right on the horses for a picture! It was Cassandra's first time ever on horseback :)

They love their Birkenstocks :)

It was fun getting to know you guys! I am really looking forward to the wedding!

Lorne + Kristina

Lorne and Kristina were married on Friday and what a perfect day. The weather was amazing and the couple was beautiful: inside and out. They were both so relaxed and lovely to work with.

Kristina was breath-taking - I absolutely love her dress!

Kristina's sister "bedazzled" her wedding shoes! Such a great idea.

Kristina's mom wanted a picture of her three girls at the end of their long lane way. They always had a picture like this on the first day of school. I'm pretty sure I teared up a little taking this shot - they are such a loving family. All three of these girls are now married and all in the last year - what a busy year for this family!

Lorne is a fire fighter so we had to get some shots with the truck!

Congratulations Lorne and Kristina!
