Chris + Ashley - Married!

Chris and Ashley were married on Saturday at the Liuna Gardens in Stoney Creek. The day didn't start out very promising with rain in the forecast, but after a stormy morning and ceremony, the clouds broke and we had some fabulous weather to take pictures in :) Ashley and Chris have been through a lot together. The maturity and sincerity of their love shone through their personalized vows and the tender way they treat one another. It was such a pleasure to photograph these love birds. Waiting for his beautiful bride... I love Ashley's emotion as she makes her way to Chris... Lots of laughs during the ceremony! Their first dance.. It was very emotional when Ashley called up all the family and close friends for a special dance to remember Chris's younger sister who passed away a couple years ago. This is a family who has suffered great loss and it was beautiful to see them remember together while supporting and comforting one another. There wasn't a dry eye in the building. I'll end this post with a picture of Chris and Ashley under a bright sky with the storm receding in the background...
